Dark Spectrum is a world-first season. Sydney will see the unique Wynyard Tunnels come alive as light and music blend together in an underground spectacular.

Dark Spectrum running from 26 May until 16 July allows you to see what lies beneath our city in an incredible, truly one-of-a-kind experience staged in a venue that has never been open to the public, the legendary Wynyard Tunnels.

Set in an immersive multi-media environment, this heightened visual and audio experience explores the deep underground, secret passageways lit as never before, pulses of electronic dance music pump through the eight-room spaces where each space is filled with a different colour linked to its own altered soundscape taking you into a new time and space.

The experience has been in development for three years, and the chance to realise the project inside the historic Wynyard tunnels is incredibly exciting as we get to show off a new venue, new technology and a new Australian-made, truly immersive experience that will envelop and overwhelm.”
