Long-standing client Raye embarked on her most ambitious show to date at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London. Mandylights designer Steve Bewley has worked with Raye since 2016 - from humble beginnings in the Hoxton bar and grill to stages around the world. We designed a show that would compliment Raye and her over 100 strong band and choir - utilising the venues architecture and features including the iconic grand organ to further add to the show for a classic look. Over 200 fixtures were used over the stage and around the venue as we lit the show for live performance which was captured by 18 cameras and directed by the legendary director Paul Dugdale. We added a modern twist to the show by utilising high powered lasers which captured Raye inside a cone of vivid beams for the song Black Mascara, along with a host of other enormous looks.
