The Moama Lights is a 600m long immersive visual experience that celebrates the history, beauty and future of the Echuca-Moama region of country New South Wales.
The Mandylights design and production saw us collaborate with local Yorta Yorta First Nations people to create over a hundred stunning light projections, in addition to local school children who are seeing their drawings come to life along the Horeshoe Lagoon boardwalk.
We’ve been priviledged to create a new soundtrack with renowned Australian composer Chong Lim to accompany the 25 minute show that uses over 1,500 custom made lighting effects across the lagoon and over 700m of the mighty Murray River. Our team also created dozens of floating glowing eucalyptus leaves and over a thousand hand-made flowers that make up a stunning illuminated native meadow.
Mandylights has had the immense pleasure of working directly with the Murray River Council and acknowledges the financial support from the NSW Government’s Streets as Shared Spaces funding.
We are hugely proud to say that this show has been produced locally using Australian talent; with the result being a show that residents and visitors can take pride in as it lights up the night sky.
